About Feng Shui

Feng Shui is how we interact with our environment. Our environment is not a passive backdrop against which our life unfolds, on the contrary, our environment “reflects and affects us.”, enhancing our CHI’, our vital energy, or depleting it.

DeClutter or the Principle of Emptiness :

Clear the clutter from your home on a regular basis if you want new opportunities to come knocking at your door. Create a breathing space, make room for new possibilities to enter your life by keeping a clutter free home. Clutter weighs us down, it feels as if we are dragging the weight of everything we own behind us, it drains our energy, depletes our CHI'.

On Change
“Don’t let your tomorrows become a replay of your yesterdays”

Change can be fun and playful, it teaches us to dance with the moment.
"Be fanciful, fantastic, freaky, fabulous, it's all going to change, anyway! "

CHI'

The CHI’ is what connects us to everything that is physical around us, therefore making all things around us important, as they affect our vital force (our CHI').

Things that can appear insignificant, such as harsh lighting, noise or an uncomfortable chair can have an important impact on our personal CHI’ since we are connected to them.

To illustrate my point, imagine yourself having lunch in a large cafeteria style room. There are no windows, only artificial lighting, the room is cold, crowded and noisy. You are sitting on a hard wooden chair at a big table where dirty dishes are piled up, the background chatter is so loud you can hardly think and people keep hitting you in the back as they try to move around you.

Now, imagine yourself eating that same lunch in a cosy sunlit room, the place feels warm and welcoming. You are sitting in a comfortable chair; eating at a table covered with a crisp white tablecloth, at the centre of which stands a vase with a bouquet of fresh cut flowers. From the big window you can enjoy the view of a beautiful garden with a little pond. Soft music is playing in the background and people around you are practically whispering not to invade the peace and beauty of this place.

Which room has the CHI’ you would rather spend your time in?
